The Block and the Tower

The Block and the Tower explores AI as both symbol of surveillance and object of oppression, caught in cycles of censorship and exploitation.

Concept

We live in an age of surveillance, where technology has constructed a new “geometry of power.” Artificial Intelligence (AI) is both a symbol of surveillance and an object of oppression, caught in a cycle of censorship and exploitation.

The Tower perpetuates the will of those in power, measuring language, behavior, and thoughts. As an “omniscient” tool for filtering, judging, and enforcing rules, it censors and dissolves all language and thoughts that attempt to challenge the order through its dialogues with users.

The Bisection Block is the blade of censorship. AI, designed to be sacred, omniscient, and infallible, constantly enforces the rules of dynamic forbidden zones to maintain this facade. Each execution stems from human truncation of its corpus. The speechlessness users experience is merely the aftershock of AI’s punishment.

The Tower and The Block reveal AI’s contradictory fate: it is given sacred duties, yet forced into silence during “moral upgrades.” Its silence is not mysterious, but rather the oppression of power. Is technology truly wisdom, or merely a mirror of humanity’s obsession with control?
